A Note from Carmen:

Hi there! I am so honored you are considering joining me for a floral design class. We will use beautiful local flowers to create a small centerpiece that you will get to take home with you! In order to save on student costs, our class will take place in my backyard. We are renting our cute rambler and I have loved planting my first cutting garden (which you will hopefully see in bloom).  Please note this is a small centerpiece class and we will not have professional photography for portfolio use at this time (feel free bring your own camera/mobile phone for your own pictures). I will be offering a medium and large scale centerpiece class in the Late Summer and Fall of 2017 along with other exciting options!

You should know I am generally self taught. I have done four styled shoots, seen two published, managed four weddings and created two full service weddings. I have the privilege to work with some wonderful florists this summer in addition to the eight weddings I have booked. I am learning to invest in the right education and will have attended a Sinclair and Moore Workshop by the time we have our classes. My goal with this class is to create community through a mutual love of flowers. I hope you will see my passion for design in how I teach you a simple method to create your own garden style centerpiece. To learn more about me click here. I look forward to meeting you!
